| - I was coincidentally in the area during their grand opening weekend. My friends and I enjoyed it so much that we ended up stopping by both days.
Parking wasn't a problem for us since we went in the afternoon between the lunch and dinner rushes for the restaurants in the same plaza.
First thing I noticed when I walked in was the delicious smell of the waffle cones. It let you know that these cones were freshly made in house. I was instantly hyped for my dessert.
Unfortunately, the menu is too straight to the point. There are no descriptions for any of the items. As much as the matcha craze is in right now, I don't think most people can tell the differences between different types of matcha. I certainly can't.
So, I went with a "safe" option I knew I wouldn't end up tossing. I got the mixed soft serve. I'm glad I went with the mixed one, because this place doesn't skimp on the matcha. The desserts seem pricey, but they definitely deliver. I think taking it straight would've been too strong for me, but my friends loved it.
My friends also tried random items off the menu (again, no one knew what anything was) and enjoyed most of them. One of the drinks was an instant hit and inspired an instant reorder for the road. The main complaint they had about their orders was about the ridiculous amount of ice in their float. Overall, they loved the place though. To put it in perspective, there were only 6 of us and we walked away with 14 items on the second trip.
The place itself is definitely designed with social media in mind. The picture corner (complete with props) were definitely a draw for a lot of their customers.
The seating seems limited. They did the best they could with the space they have, but there were customers forced to stand in a corner to eat their desserts since the place was full. Half of the seats are at a long communal table, which is where the outlets are located in you're planning to hang out.
