BUYER BEWARE! Unscrupulous sales tactics and outright lies! This company sold my son a truck at a very high price (yes, he was naive and he let himself be taken advantage of - hard life lesson learned!!!). They took his 2002 Honda Accord in on trade and let him leave the lot with the over-priced pile of junk! After a month they had not secured the financing they assured him he would get and the temporary plate they issued would be expiring on 12/24 (Happy Holidays - NOT!) Then he was told he had to drive the truck to Tucson to have a credit union look at. Since he's an EMT and works 12 hour shifts (5pm-5am) 5-6 days a week; driving to Tucson was not possible PLUS the wheel bearing had already gone out on the truck and it wasn't driveable (see above pile of junk comment) and since they hadn't secured financing he told them to come get the truck and give him his car back. OH MY!!!! THIS IS WHERE THE NEVER-ENDING STORY OF LIES BEGIN!!!! We were told his Honda had been sold at auction for $1000; apparently they said he signed a power of attorney giving them the right to do that; my son could not recall signing a power of attorney nor could they provide a copy to us when we asked for it! Then we were told the car was on their lot and we could come get. Then we were told the car wasn't on their lot but was at the Adesa Car Auction in Chandler AND then finally low and behold the car was on their lot and we could come get it which we did. They had my son's car from November 9, 2016 through December 25, 2016 and had put over a 1,000 miles on it - driving it back and forth from their lot in Mesa to the Car Auction in Chandler is what we were told. It was returned to us dirty, it had been smoked in (ashes were on the floor board and seat), totally empty gas tank, and the license plate had been removed and they didn't know where it was. AT LEAST WE NOW HAVE THE CAR BACK AND WE HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB. DO NOT BUY FROM SULLIVAN MOTOR COMPANY!!
