| - For those who are not aware of this place - yes it looks like you've entered the wrong part of town. Be not afraid! Keep going in, cuz you are in the right spot!
We are fans here. When hubby craves Thai food, we only travel here. For him, it is bringing his memories back of seeing the foods on his travels there when he was younger. (and he has been looking for a place like this for a very long time - TRUST ME!)
Right after entering you are greeted very quickly and seated promptly (or are given a good time estimate if waiting is the only option) They love kids here and are well prepared to accomodate towards them.
Hubby leans towards Pad Kee Mao (or some variety of the wide rice noodle). I like to mix it up. Papaya Pad Thai is very tasty - hubby wasn't super fond of it, but for me - I was just lapping it all up! Since we had the wee one, we had to keep it mild - :( - but one of these days we are hoping to have all mouths on fire!
The soft shell crab app is YUUUUMMY! Gives you that perfect taste, but doesn't weight your belly down so you get to fill up on the main course!
Chicken Chili mint - very awesome! Fire and ice in one bite!
Seafood Basil Fried Rice - yuuuum! Can't tell you how many times I have been here with all the food, but I have never been disappointed. I always strive to have something I didn't eat the last time just to be able to say at one point that I have eaten everything on the menu!
Oh and let's not forget our beverage staple: Thai Iced Tea - traditional, (and now) red or green!!! Wish I knew the secret to making it, love it so very much - someone has told me before it was Lipton tea, but somehow I am doubtful - and am striving to know the secret to it. (note for the great internet research project).
Now juuuust to be fair to the competition in the same parking lot - there is a Lotus of Siam restaurant nearby also Thai cuisine, but have yet to explore their restaurant.
And lastly - can't review the desserts, since our bellies are always full to the brim by the time we are done! (oh did I mention you get to take home leftovers too?) That's right more bang for your buck! Ok now my tummy is getting hungry for Thai food..... hmmm Happy dining!
