I have been living here since September of 2016 and have only had a few minor issues since my roommate and I moved in. However there was an issue today of severe importance. If there's anything I place high value on, it's my privacy. Now in our apartment the Master Bathroom and Bedroom are attached. And the balcony windows have a semi-circle window at the top that's not covered by the blinds (which I always keep closed). After showering this morning, I exited my bathroom to go to my closet and get dressed for the day when I notice brown paper being put over the top of the window. Had I left my bathroom just minutes sooner, some stranger would have seen me completely undressed. After rushing to put clothes on, I open the balcony door to confirm that it was indeed someone there to paint the outside of apartment. The management gave us zero notice that someone would be there today, leaving me no warning to even move my patio furniture or make sure the balcony doors were locked. Upon bringing my concerns to the front office staff I was simply told that it was an issue and the right people would be notified, but they did not take down my name or apartment number. I am unsure what they plan to do to resolve this, but I do not necessarily feel safe in a place that clearly has such little regard for my privacy.
