  • I wish I could give 0 stars for them. I went into this Pep Boys on 12/07/2017 to get an alignment done on my 2008 Honda Civic as the car started to pull to the right two days prior. I had a planned trip to California for the 12/08/2017. I went to this Pep Boys and they told me it would cost $89.99 plus tax to do the alignment. I gave them the keys to the car and had them take it in. Almost two hours later the employee at the front, Moises, came to let me know that they can try to fix it again but so far no resolutions had popped up, so I agreed to let them have at it one last time to see if it can get fixed. it was already closing time, and 20 minutes or so later the same employee let me know that they fixed it, so my husband and I went to pay them for the job. Once my husband and I pulled out from the shop we checked it ourselves, and the employees had actually made it worse than when we came in 3 hours earlier. We turned around right away and caught Moises before they had left the shop and I informed him that my alignment is now worse. He stayed behind to check it out, and in the end, told me that it wasn't actually my alignment causing the problem it was something else. He promised my husband and me a refund but couldn't give us one that night as his register was already closed, and asked us to call him back for one. I called a couple of times and spoke to the manager Veronica and she told me she will talk to him. Once I finally got a hold of him two days later he told me that they will not be giving me a refund because they techincally fixed the alignment, he also said that I can't pin it on them for making my alignment worse even though It actually did get worse after having them "work" on it. My alignment was not fixed, they did not provide the service they charged me for and are now refusing compensation and stated that I can talk to the district manager but that they will tell me the same thing. I'm greatly disappointed at the service and from this experience, I will never return to a Pep Boys for any car service.
