| - The line up only took us about 30 minutes on a Thursday late afternoon. The confusing part was that the same line was for you to just buy the macaron and to sit down.
Anyways we sat down around 8pm, the Laduree afternoon tea set were sold out. It's $50, which is very reasonable for a tea set.
Moving on to the seats, they are already getting dirty and the cups and plates were already very scratched and looks old. I would highly recommend they maintain that if they want to maintain a certain vibe. The music was loud and not the right type of music played at this type of cafe setting.
I ended up ordering the club sumon $19, lettuce, cucumber, free range eggs and smoked salmon. They toasted the bread, flavour wise pretty good. I've ordered the first tea on the menu, I didn't really like it as it has a fruity taste yet not strong enough.
For the macarons, they have seasonal flavours, the ones with the asterisk such as raspberry, strawberry candy, passion fruit and hazelnut.
I bought a box of 8 to go and selected cafe, pistachio, Rose, vanilla, chocolate, maple syrup, passion fruit, hazel nut.
My favourite was the vanilla, then chocolate and pistachio.
The rose tasted like soap, maple syrup one was too sweet. The others ones were nothing to write home about. (Approx 2.5 star)
