My very first shaved ice I ever had was from here. Over the years , I ventured to other places and tried other shaved ice. It is always nice to come back to where you once started....
Fast forward now ... there are a lot more new and innovative shaved ice chains popping out everywhere. Cha me cha is still stuck on their same old menu at least from the shaved ice selections.
We ordered the Mango Tango Shaved Ice ($12.99)... the shaved ice itself was fine. I liked how you can adjust the sweetness level - they have condensed milk on the side. However , I didn't like all the artificial jellies and bobas. The ice cream we got was vanilla ? Overall, it didn't have much of a "mango " taste in this bowl of shaved ice.
Cha me cha wouldn't be my ideal place to go for shaved ice. Their menu is pretty intense with meals , bubble tea and snacks. I like all the choices you can get from one restaurant. However, because they try to offer so many choices, their quality of each product goes downhill.
Revisit for shaved ice ? Maybe. If they offer more "fresh" fruit shaved ice ... I'll reconsider.
