  • I took my son's truck in for an estimate on a strange noise that could be heard when you needed to change gears. He had already been quoted $700-$800 by Charlie's Auto Repair on Charleston to replace the clutch. (NEVER go there) A mechanic at Honest 1 rode with me to listen to the noise and see if he could figure out where it might be coming from. I received a call this morning saying the truck was ready to be picked up and the problem had been solved. Apparently there were bolts missing on a bracket next to the air filter. Something that simple. They didn't charge us for taking care of this problem and they will now have all of this family's business. Thank you so much for helping us out and truly being honest.
