I'm a bit torn between a 2 star and 3 star rating for my last visit in early December. Here are some things that Caesars left me to remember them by during my 24 hour trip in Las Vegas...
1. Automatic check in machines... painful is the word I would best use to describe the process of trying to figure it out. After 5 failed attempts to read in my ID, a hotel rep finally helped us out. After checking in through the "automatic" machine around 12pm, it said we would be notified via email when out room was ready. Sure enough no email til 3:59pm... Thank goodness we ended up just going to the front desk to try to re-check in around 2:30pm and get a room earlier so we could relax a bit before the 5pm wedding we were there for.
2. The room with King bed we got at the Julius tower was clean, but felt small and crammed. At least it was quiet for the night, so no complaints there.
3. What the heck is going on with the carpet in the lobby?! Either they don't vacuum it at all or it's shedding like no other. This carpet shedding that's going on downstairs gets caught in your shoes via static and got all over our clean room. Gross.
4. Food court prices are hiked up at Caesars. I kid you not the same Earl of Sandwich we bought at Planet Hollywood costs $2 more here.
Not sure I got anything really positive to say here. Almost debating going 1 star on this one when I come to think of what I paid for the room. I had such good memories and fun times staying here years ago. What a shame.
'Til next time.
