| - Nadège Patisserie has expanded quite a bit since I first stepped into their Queen West location (and loved it!).
Inside Yorkdale, this location has a large display of their many sweet and savoury creations, and there's even a chocolate bar. There is a small seating area, but I am sure that it will be very packed on the weekends.
I enjoyed my Roast Beef with Smoked Gouda Sandwich with a bottle of Bottlegreen's Sparkling Pomegranate and Elderflower. Mmm... My friend ordered a Mushroom Quiche which she thought was pretty good, but her cup of Hot Apple Cider was nothing special.
Nadège's new chocolate bonbons were very pretty, we had to try at least one. 'Harvest' (crunchy corn, almond & 68% chocolate) was deee-nutty-licious! I'd go back for more!
Although this is Nadège and it is located inside Yorkdale, there were a couple of things that we found a bit surprising. Once we stepped inside, we admired the many macarons on display, but on one side, there were ruined macarons spread across the trays on display... I was also curious about the flavour "Kalamanzi" and the girl behind the counter hesitated a little, but proceeded to tell us that "it's a tea from China". However, we learned from the lady behind the chocolate bar that it is actually a citrus fruit...
Nadège Patisserie is a lovely bakery that is obviously doing really well in Toronto. Although I understand that this Yorkdale location opened only two days, there is still room for improvement.
