  • My wife's car had previously been in another auto shop twice to repair it post accident. The reason we came here is because the other shop could still not get the AC to work after two visits. We made an appointment with East Mesa Auto Repair Center and our insurance to have the car looked at. The agreement was that we would drop the car off and insurance and the mechanic would meet at a set time and go over the car together to make sure the car needed repair. This shop assured us, as per the insurance policy, that they wouldn't touch the car until our claims rep inspected it. Per our agreement we dropped the car off. The repair shop didn't hold up their end of the agreement and repaired the car before insurance came. Also, after the car was fixed no one from the shop bothered to call us and tell us anything. Later in the day after I didn't hear from anyone I called the shop and they told me they fixed it but they didn't even know whose car it was. I don't know how they didn't know since I had a set day and time, with my name the make and model of the car. We were forced to pay out of pocket, an exorbitant amount, to get our car back. Insurance told us flat out the shop had no business touching our car until insurance allowed it and that the shop knew that too. Insurance won't pay us back now because they have no way to prove the car wasn't fixed right before this shop touched it. Very crooked shop, not good at fixing cars but very good at highway robbery. Very unprofessional employees.
