The Whole Woods in Summerlin is subpar compared to the one on Las Vegas Blvd. I'm mainly talking about the food bar which is a disaster. They like to put the most unhealthy food in the trays and for some reason constantly shut it down early like an an hour or two before they close, the other four locations that I frequent the most (Venice Beach, Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Las Vegas Strip) never shut the food bar down early. My friends and I can get food right up until they close and not to mention healthy choices. Our choices at the Summerlin location are always Fried Chicken, Macaroni & Cheese and other junk. You would think that this Summerlin location located in the suburbs of Las Vegas would try to set an example in regards to eating healthy and clean, but they don't which is disappointing. As far as the store goes it's great. The produce section is always stocked and clean. The butcher always has a great selection of good cuts and definitely makes sure you get what you want. Same goes for the seafood counter they always do their best to get you the best fish, shrimp and other items they have to offer. The cheese counter is good and has wonderful choices of select cheeses. It would be nice if they offered a few more hard to find exotic selections from time to time. The wine wall has some good picks for any occasion so that doesn't disappoint. The juice bar at this location is great they are really on top of it and make the best drinks out of the other locations I frequent. One thing I will say about the employees here and my other locations is their eagerness to help when you need to find something. They are second to none. It truly does make a difference. Anyway if you are in the habit of buying your groceries at a normal store and want to start making some healthy choices starting with Whole Foods is a step in the right direction. They are very knowledgeable and more importantly very willing to help you. Let's face it we all need help from time to time and there's no better time than now. What you choose to put in your body does make a difference. I'm not saying Whole Foods is perfect they to have faults with some of the products they offer but it's far better than the alternative. So make that first step you'll be glad that you did. Like they say your body is your temple.
