  • Went in for a consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist. I got terrible acne and been battling the skin war for more than 10 years. The staff was extremely nice and hospitable. Offered coffee, which was a total pleasure. +1 for service. Had an amazing time while I was there! The amount of care and attentiveness by the nurse is beyond words. My first "spa" treatments in Toronto. Always felt intimidated getting one, but the scars and pores were becoming a nuisance. Did not know what to expect when I went to the clinic the first time. Surprisingly the cost of the service was not much. Was suggested to do the Sonopeel for 4 treatments as a lighter therapy. Done two session so far. Was cool and relaxing. Not very long, lasted about 25ish minutes. Can't say my acnes were all gone, but my face definitely felt smoother and softer for the past weeks. Going back for another consultation for acne scar removal. I have tried benzoyl peroxide, but it wasn't getting rid of the deeper and darker scars. So kind of excited to see how the laser treatment goes.
