This place was extremely mediocre.
The sea bass with garlic was cooked perfectly, sadly the accompanying sauce tasted completely undoctored and out of a jar. Other Thai restaurants have fresh chopped garlic and chilies to liven up the dish and this is what I presumed I would be getting (have eaten Thai style garlic seafood 5 dozen times). It wasn't bad, just wasn't authentic.
The garlic shrimp had a too thick almost tempura batter. The only thing garlicky was the dipping sauce. Again, a little disappointed. Not like what they serve elsewhere or in Thailand.
The pad Thai was also mediocre. The sauce and noodles reminded me of the Thai Kitchen brand noodles and sauce that you can make in 5 minutes at home. I love pad Thai when done well, this just wasn't it. There was also no flavor of any fish sauce being used which is a key ingredient in making pad Thai.
On a bright note, the service was friendly although there was only one waitress in the entire restaurant. Once she had five tables, things slowed a bit but not her fault...
Overall, if you are inexperienced with Thai cuisine this place could easily satisfy you...I know for myself better options exist and I won't return.
