  • I've been to the Glass Bubble Project multiple times over the years. I've even made a few minor purchases (Halloween glass items). What I really found spectacular on my latest visit was how kind and open to questions the staff were. I took my niece (4 yrs) and nephew (9 yrs) to the West Side Market and decided to stop in to the GBP too. No one seemed concerned that one of the kids might break something. In fact, they offered to let the kids hold / pet the chicken that was wandering around. Someone was making something in the back of the shop and even he offered to answer any questions the kids might have. On the way out, one of the guys had just sliced open a fresh pineapple and offered some to my niece & nephew. They were thrilled! I can't say enough how warm and inviting the people who own/work in this shop are. I think it is great that they're so open to kids too! My nephew is hooked and wants to take a glass-blowing class now. The GBP is great for all ages and for those who need a little dose of creativity. Stop on by and enjoy the GBP!
