  • I went to a conference for work here and it was a pretty accessible location. The conference was only held at the Marriott for a day. They served us breakfast, lunch and a light snack. Overall the food was descent no complaints. We were served a salad along with a bean salad, chicken and they had a delicious chocolate torte. The hotel was freezing though! We went from room to room depending on the workshop you were attending and each room felt colder then the last. It might have been fine if you were a male wearing a dress shirt and a suit jacket on top but for everyone else (most of the participants being women) it was freezing! The building was in good shape and there were a lot of rooms for the workshops. The wifi was strong and didn't really have any service interruptions which is great when you have such a large crowd of people. Overall it was a great workshop and We were lucky to be in such a central location downtown
