| - First, I should comment that Henderson Chevrolet was on my "must look" list when I began thinking about making the move for a new or certified used car. That was because of the fantastic service that Ray B. (he bills himself as "Ray the Bald Guy") provided with my Chevy Sonic. Although not purchased from them originally, I had occasion to bring my car in several times (as late as this past week) and Ray has been great. Given I now live a good half hour away with traffic and there are other Chevy dealers much closer to me, the great service I received through the service department became the gateway to considering the dealership in my car search.
Having said that, when you drive on the Henderson Chevrolet lot (not if.....but *when*), you want to ask for Patrick, Joe, or Fabio. Patrick and Joe worked with me through the entire process. I didn't know Fabio was now a salesman there. I mention him because he is a former student of mine from a former college where I taught. I know his ethics and his level of integrity, so seeing him there at the dealership was an additional vote of confidence on top of the great foundation I had with Joe and Patrick working to get me into the vehicle I had research/selected at the price-point I wanted.
Although I went into the process with my own financing in place, Joe connected me to Tony (the person you want to see in financing) and he came back with a better rate. Worthy of your consideration is Ally Permier Protection (Major Guard) so at least give Tony a few minutes to tell you about several of the Premier Protection options before you leave the lot.
If you think you see double.....fear not. Fabio and Tony are twins!
I can't speak for anyone else's experience. My experience was great.
Patrick was my first point of contact and he worked me on the test drive and the first leg of paperwork. Joe did a fantastic job listening to what I wanted and my overall goal for a new car purchase. He worked extremely hard, not to "try" and make it happen, but *make it happen.* Fabio was there the first day I came in. All three were very respectful in giving me some space when I backed off the purchase for a few days. I returned four or five days later and, along with Tony in financing, they all made this new purchase (a 2017 Chevy Trax) a very positive experience.
(...and a shout out to the folks who handle all of what I call "end of the line" important things like getting my existing OnStar re-established in my new vehicle, walking through the features of the Trax before I left the lot, and answering any last minute questions!)
