My roommate and I had stumbled across a video for this place on Facebook prior to our visit to Toronto and made sure to put it on our list of places to visit. It was a hike to get out to this neighborhood seeing as we were staying in downtown Toronto, but it was a simple tram ride and well worth the travel time.
Craig was actually there when we popped in, and was extremely friendly and welcoming to us American tourists. We chatted for a bit and he told us that the beautiful cookies we were about to ingest were made that afternoon, about 4 hours prior, so super fresh and moist.
We took our cookies to the park across the bridge to enjoy and man oh man were we not disappointed. All of the fun additives in the cookies are INSIDE the cookie, not broken up and distributed in the batter, which I thought was genius. We should take a page from Craig's book of creativity, because I never in a million years would've though that a pop-tart encased in cookie dough would be on the list of things I would have to eat at my last meal if ever on death row. THAT. GOOD.
Seriously this place is legit and worth the trip from downtown. Don't be a weirdo and just get one, be the fatty you know you are and get a whole dozen of mix and match cookies for your enjoyment. You won't regret it.
