No. No no no no no no no. The fact that Amazon uses this company to deliver packages baffles me. I work in the apartment industry, and the Lasership delivery team is hands down the laziest that I have ever seen.
At my last property, The LS gentleman would come in, drop off the packages and have us sign for them. I would ask if he attempted to go to the apartment home first and he said "no" and that they will have to check their email. That's great considering some people order fresh foods that EXPIRE. They're too lazy to deliver straight to the door.
At the current property I am at, they do the same thing. They come in and try to pawn the packages off on us at the front desk. The elevator is right there. I was out on tour and came back just a few moments ago to SIX packages sitting by my desk. Guess I'll be playing courier today amongst my list of other things to do.
I am convinced that these people are paid by the package, not by the hour. If they were hourly employees, they would take their time and DO THEIR JOB correctly instead of half-ass it.
