This is my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Scarborough. It's a small place with a formidable line at peak times to attest to its growing popularity.
The Bun Rieu is good, but my usual order is the vermicelli with lemongrass chicken and egg loaf (mmm egg loaf...). Juicy chicken, spongey, perfectly seasoned egg loaf, crunchy pickled vegetables and springy vermicelli make a very satisfying Friday night meal.
The #50 roll is filled and topped with yummy bits and is great for sharing. Don't confuse it with the appetizer spring rolls which don't have a lot going on.
Did I mention the egg loaf is good?
