| - I set up trips for my company. This time around, the trip was to Las Vegas! I couldn't let our group go to Vegas without firing off some machine guns, so I started my search. I chose The Range 702 due to their VIP Range. With the VIP Range, we got 4 private lanes for our group and the VIP Suite. Everyone did the Black Ops package with double ammo. Exciting right!? Well the day finally came, and our group of 14 ended up waiting 1.5 -2 hours after our scheduled time due to the room being double booked. No Bueno..
I planned a full day for the group, and any delays could easily run into each other. Thankfully I was able to move a few things around. Needless to say, my boss wasn't very happy with waiting that long for a time slot and area that we were paying for and has asked me to reach out The Range 702. At first they offered to refund the amount we paid for our VIP room since we didn't get the VIP treatment they "normally give". Unfortunately, when we worked out a deal, the VIP room came up to only $200 with the packages and upgrades we purchased. (Barely enough to buy more ammo). I had given up at this point and thought to myself, "well, next time I'll send the group else where"
Little did I know that my email made it all the way up to their Marketing Manager and CEO. They truly went above and beyond and helped our group get the amount we paid for our VIP Range and the extra ammo we purchased. This was totally unexpected, and I was very surprised that they decided to look at our case another time without me asking.
That day (Wednesday, around 5:30 PM) I decided to pay Range 702 a visit (I'm a local and wasn't able to attend the trip). I've been in the market for a new 9MM and wanted to try out a few that I was deciding between. The space is super clean and bright! No one knew who I was or what experience I've already had with their team, but everyone was really nice and attentive. The RSO wasn't breathing down your neck, but was definitely there to enforce safety. Upon leaving, he thanked me and by boyfriend for being safe. I know he says that to everyone, but it sure feels authentic.
We got the locals discount: $10 for the lane (no extra cost for extra person in your lane! Yes!) I think it was $20 to rent all the 9mm guns that we tried (we tried about 8?), and of course ammo (box of 50 around $15-16?) The ammo is a little expensive, but that's to be expected when renting guns and purchasing the range's ammo.
I've been back a few more times since then and have recommended Range 702 to countless friends and family. They will for sure be on my top list when I have another Vegas trip to plan. Personally, I will definitely be back. :) Thank you Range 702.
