| - My boyfriend and I visited Hexx for my birthday brunch on a very busy Sunday afternoon. We hadn't researched this place at all but decided to go in anyways since it looked like a cool place. We were offered the option of immediate bar seating or to check in and wait for a table. Normally, we would've opted to go to another place since we don't like waiting or sitting at the bar, but since we were hungry and tired, we chose to be seated in the bar. The only negative of our whole experience here was that we waited for about 10 mins before we were brought menus by the bartender, who ended up being our waiter. The wait was understandable though as the bartender had 4 or 5 other tables in his areas plus a few people sitting at the actual bar.
The menu had quite a few different things to choose from including sweet and savory brunch items, pizza, and salads, so I knew this would be a difficult decision for my boyfriend and I. In the end, I decided to go for the Veggie Burger and my boyfriend chose the Corned Beef Hash. Once we placed our order, the food came out fairly quickly considering how busy it was. My veggie burger was delicious! It had a great chipotle mayo with just the right amount of spice. Only thing I disliked about the sandwich was the huge slices of avocado, but that's just a personal preference. I am sure that someone who enjoys avocado would consider the avocado the be just the right amount. My boyfriend loved the corned beef hash too.
As for their drink menu, their brunch feature is $23 bottomless mimosas, which I feel like is a very fair price for unlimited mimosas in Vegas! There were a variety of other signature cocktails, bloody Mary's, beers, and wines to choose from as well. I opted for a simple Malibu and pineapple juice, while my boyfriend tried an IPA beer (Prairie Artisan, Phantasmagoria), which he enjoyed throughly.
Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious food next time we're in Vegas! Next time we will be sure to book a table ahead of time!
