| - For some reason I only recently started liking ice cream with a passion. Sure, it was good every now and then, but suddenly I've found myself thinking about it more and more. I'm almost always in the mood for it now and the fact that this place opened has made it even easier for me to feed this monster I've become.
Ok, exagerration aside, Mitchell's is convenient and delicious. They have a standard menu of their constants, plus a rotation of unique and seasonal ice creams and yogurts. Everything I've had has been so tasty, too. Banana cream pie? Fantastic and full of huge chunks of graham cracker crust. Lavender honey? Tastes like a spa in the best way possible. Smoothies? Fresh and amazing! *I'm a bit of a skeptic about smoothies, so the fact that you can watch them put the fresh fruit in them is reassuring. I feel like I know better what I'm putting in my body and that makes it taste even better!* I've had little tastes of others like the black raspberry chocolate chunk (which, from what I hear, is comparable to Graeters...), the Great Lakes Porter chocolate chunk (beer ice cream is weird, but this was the best kind of weird), the mint cookies and cream (wow.), and a peanut butter milkshake (that whipped cream? yum. the milkshake wasn't as impressive as I felt it should have been though).
If you like ice cream on any level, I'm pretty sure you can't not like Mitchell's. Plus, the service is always great with smiles and samples!
