Wynn's Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare is a 2013 Forbes Travel Guide Four Star Award winner. Bartolotta's newly refurbished dining spaces, both indoors
and overlooking the private lagoon, they finally reopened and it's such a beautiful space now. Featuring fresh Mediterranean seafood, Chef Paul Bartolotta was twice honored with the James Beard Foundation award.
I love this Italian spot because of the fresh seafood selection they offer. It's quite amazing that chef Bartolotta has a selection of tank in the kitchen back and a marine biologist full time to take of these fishes, now that's amazing as you have seen on Andw Zimmern Las Vegas episode.
Fresh Langoustine got flown in from the Mediterranean is a MUST TRY.
- Scampi Vivi "the single best live langoustines on the planet" - It comes in Medium, Large, Jumbo, and Extra Jumbo. This time they only jumbo size and it was $40 well spent. It was about 4 inches in length and 1 inch width.
- insalata di campo arugula, radicchio, frisee, Belgian endive, red wine vinaigrette was fresh and good.
- bavette alle vongole linguine, clams, tomato sauce, white wine, garlic, parsley - I thought this was a smaller size to try but it was bigger than we expected, perfectly al dente.
- risotto, scallops, uni, this was delicious.
- spaghetti con canocchie spaghetti, Mediterranean mantis shrimp, white wine, tomato - another perfect execution dish!
- The Branzino - whole sea bass, cruda... tomatoes, arugula, garlic, red onion, olive oil, red wine vinegar - this was divine, it was so good, light, and so fresh.
The wine list was amazing as well, well-priced, and the sommelier was really nice too. Our server was perfect from the moment we sat down till we left. Remember it was the CES 2014 week, but we were treated so nicely. Our customers were happy and that made everything perfect.
1 of my best meals in Vegas at CES 2014.
