I must say I was very intrigued when i walked past Planet Hollywood and saw a sign that they had the "BEST BUFFET IN LAS VEGAS" I walked past this sign twice in one day and decided that I was going to be the judge of that! Well signs lie!! This buffet was okay.... I've totally had better.
It took me forever to find the buffet entrance... I had no idea you had to take an escalator down to get to the entrance. So I spent a good time searching for it and had to stop for directions. The inside of the buffet is nicely decorated and the food stations were separated by cuisine... major plus! And they had a Mediterranean station... that is a first i have seen. Granted the section was not that big but i do love my Indian food! So slowly I go through most of the sections. Starting with the seafood... everything thing in this section was pretty good... the stuffed fish was a little eh to me tho. Next was the salad cold section... i'd say... stay away... no matter how good it looks... (remember looks can be deceiving) . The Asian section can be skipped... unless you do not know what really good Asian food tastes like.... stick to the dim sum its probably one of the better things in this section. American Section was probably the biggest section and there was nothing unusual here... carved meats potatoes... everything was delish in this section. The Mediterranean section had oodles of good stuff.. from curry to tandoori chicken... very good! Dessert was okay... usually I get almost one of everything that i find appetizing. I tried a little of everything.. it was all okie.. nothing really special.. nothing that would make me go back for a second slice... except for the chocolate cake... that was amazingly sweet and good.
Overall this buffet was average... you are probably better off walking across the street to the Bellagio or Paris.
