I used this company three times: to re-line the built-in rain gutters of my Victorian home, to re-coat the porch roof, and to build a cricket around my chimney. Their prices were competitive, but I was not satisfied with two of the three jobs. My first call to them was about leaks in the porch roof gutters. Re-lining the gutters and re-sealing the roof was their prescription. It cost $1000 but the leaks continued.
First they denied that it was leaking, suggesting that I needed to clean my gutters more often. (Huh?) Then they offered to do my other roofing job (building the cricket around my chimney) at a good price and to fix the first job at no charge. The estimator said they would do "whatever it takes" to get it right. As it happens they didn't do anything. They did the chimney cricket but never touched the porch again. Then they didn't return my messages.
Now I have had two other roofers out to try (again) to fix the leaking porch roof. Both of the other roofers are skeptical of the materials chosen by Bash-Pepper for the job in the first place. One asked me why I chose a cheap roofing material that wouldn't last -- this was suggested as the best strategy by Bash-Pepper. The other asked why my re-lined gutters had big gaps in the lining. He put his finger into a gap to show me.
I'd stay away from Bash-Pepper.
