Our agent, Lawrence Mahool, gave great, *realistic* advice on what would get the home sold -- right pricing, right staging, right repairs, etc.. We took most of it, replacing worn carpet, trimming overhanging trees, cleaning as needed, de-cluttering, restoring our living room to a living room from its role as an office...
The young photographer, Danielle (?) did a great job capturing the house's many attributes and getting a good selection on the web.
The house was under contract, WITH A SECOND OFFER WAITING IN THE WINGS, in less than 24 hours officially on the market! It was shown *only twice,* that I'm aware of! Getting two offers from two showings, on the first day it was available to show, was not something we were entirely prepared for!
Leigh Brown did a great job while Lawrence was on vacation, walking me through the negotiation process, and helping us get a signed contract. We got just about what we expected we would get.
Leigh Strickland did a great job helping us with the details approaching the close.
There were numerous complications associated with the BUYERS' situation (selling their home, their buyers' financing and closing timing, financing the purchase of ours, title search, etc.). Our buyers also wanted numerous inspections beyond the first one. So we settled the entire transaction about 22 days later than anticipated.
Leigh Brown's team did their part to make the entire process as smooth as possible, even when the buyers were delaying the process with hiccup after hiccup. We are happy to have the place sold, and would recommend Leigh's team to anyone.
