| - I went to this salon for the first time on 12/17/2015. The stylist, Katie F., butchered my hair. I cried when I saw it; no sobbing, just a few tears. She did not charge me for the cut. A few hours later, I texted Katie asking if I could come back to have the ends fixed. She replied, "I'm sorry, but after this morning, I do not feel comfortable doing your hair." I had definitely been clear and honest about my dissatisfaction, but I never raised my voice or showed anger. (In fact, by the time I left, I was trying to comfort *her.*) I called the salon and described what happened. The information was passed along to the manager, Lauren, who later invited me back to personally fix my hair at no charge. UPDATE, 12/19: Lauren accommodated my schedule, and I went back on 12/18. She was prompt and friendly when I arrived, and apologized for my bad experience. I asked her to simply even up the ends, but she cut everywhere. My hair is now shorter than I wanted, but it is better than it was on 12/17. While I am satisfied with how Lauren handled the situation, I will not be going back to Leidan Mitchell. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. (I must add that I also got one, all-over color. That alone cost $85, but looks no better than an $8 box job.)
