  • I am a local Realtor who found myself in a bit of a jam. The home inspector for my client canceled at the last minute, ugh, and I needed to find a reliable company who was willing to travel to Westmoreland County in a day's notice. After calling each and every recommend vendor on my brokerage list, I was desperate, to say the least! One day notice is not a lot of time, and I was working within contract guidelines....I basically needed a miracle.It was 1:00 AM and I went off my list, googled home inspectors, and came across a company called HomeAdvisor. I filled out their online form, submitted my info, and crossed my fingers. The next morning at 8:00 AM sharp I received a call from one of the owners! What a surprise, and perhaps my miracle? Because I am a Realtor she called to probe about my situation. She quickly realized I needed their help, and set me up with one of the their local companies, The Diamond Group Home Inspections Inc. She also switched inspectors around on the schedule so that my first time home buyer would receive the benefit of getting Don Mineheart. Don is very patient and a teacher to first time home buyers. He took such care with my client in explaining in great detail what he was looking at, why, and how it mattered. I was so impressed with Don and his professionalism, care, concern, and true love for his work. My client was equally impressed, but also gained so much insight and understanding about the home she was about to purchase. What started out as a cancelled home inspection and potential contract disruption, turned into the best experience for me and my client.
