  • My boyfriend lived here and I would spend a lot of time here with him. So as I'm speaking for my bf, I've also seen first hand how poorly run this place is. While my bf kept to himself a lot, there were a few things that we found to be ridiculous that may happen to you if you lease a place here: 1. One major thing is the office is open pretty much the entire workday (i.e 8-5pm M-F) and because there are so many tenants, they deliver all the packages to the main office. And as frequent users of Amazon Prime, free & fast shipping is a priority. So pretty much if you're at work from 8-5pm when are you suppose to get your packages? They do claim to deliver packages around a certain time of day, everyday, but they always seem to take a few days to deliver his stuff after its already arrived. My bf has had to email them countless times regarding the delay. If you can't be consistent with your duties, then keep the office open a few hours longer so people have a chance to get home from work and deal with that stuff. 2. My bf is always been good with paying his rent on time and before switching to online payments, he would always write a check and put it in the box. Well one day the box was tampered with and all the rent checks were stolen..or misplaced we don't really know. But on his door, he got a late notice and a $50 charge for being late...His rent check was with the other rent checks that went missing.. well I can hardly understand how that's on him when he did everything right. Fortunately they credited the $50 to the next months rent due to the strange fiasco, but still guys, I mean come on, this should have been waved. You messed up and he has to pay??? Something literally doesn't add up.. 3. They have their grounds keepers mow lawns and plow snow at 7:30am. Monday-Friday. Snow plowing I understand. People need to get to work and if they're trapped by snow it makes it more difficult but the 7:30am lawn care? A good portion of people are still sleeping or I should say "trying". I'm more than certain that the residents of Park Village apartments wouldn't mind if the grass around the building was mowed at 9:30 or 10:30, opposed to 7:30. In my opinion, if managing the rent checks, packages and whatever else is in the scope of your job description and you're not doing exactly that, it just makes for a poorly run company. The only upside is the price is decent which most people consider when apartment hunting and maintenance responds at a fairly reasonable time frame. But if that's all it has going for it, I guarantee you, you can find a better place for a similar price. Try to avoid this place if you can
