First off the entrance is an awesome "passage" into Gordon Ramsay's Steak, entering off the "tube" into the bar is a playful way to get into the restaurant.
The bartenders are very well versed in everything, they show appreciation for what they have behind the bar, and are happy to give suggestions to the novice bar goer. It's a great place to grab a drink while waiting for your seat. It's small, but you don't wait long, unless you're in a group of 11 like I was.
The restaurant is dim, but feels classy. We sat upstairs in our own place, they were kind enough to seat us at 10pm and they were definitely not pushy when we stayed after closing. Top quality service from our waiter AND the bus boys. They were all having fun with us and it felt like a family get together.
The meat tray that they roll around to showcase their meats is a delight to see and smell, it was so good that we ordered 12 oz of the A5 on the spot to share. The tomahawk was tempting, but I wasn't THAT hungry and the signature wellington was screaming my name.
Between 11 people not a soul left hungry or unhappy.
Come for the food, stay for the atmosphere.
Enjoy!
