| - I would NOT recommend Arizona Reliable Movers. The older guy was training the younger guy and took 12 hours to get the truck packed, moved to my new place and unpacked. They kept arranging and rearranging every item put in the truck, which took forever and the hours just kept going by. Once we got to my new place the older guy told us that we need to take all our boxes and everything else and bring everything in ourselves! At this point we were so disgusted and tired at how long it was taking that we just started unloading and bringing in our items ourselves. They would only Cary 1 box at a time while we used a dolly, which there were several, to get the job done quicker. They broke multiple times. My son's bed, the bookshelf, boxes of dishes because they dropped them in the truck, which my son saw. Once they left and $1100 later we started realizing the extent of items damaged. The younger guy broke my son's bed, my mother watched him do it. Once they wanted to get paid the younger guy started reading a contract saying they aren't responsible for anything that they break, that if we didn't want anything broken that we were to move it ourselves! He then told me I had to sign it! I said I would not and that they are responsible for what they broke. Especially since we witnessed them breaking items with our own eyes.
The movers also took some of our items. And when they were bringing in the times, 1 by 1, the younger guy started asking for furniture and anything that we didn't want because he just moved into a studio apartment and didn't have much in there. I was flabbergasted! I told him NO, this is my stuff and I am not giving him anything.
The trash can that the younger guy took, once I saw that he took it, I let him know that my best friend and the person I loved just passed away and that I found him in our bathroom and that trashcan was in his pool of blood and I don't appreciate him taking that. He said, oh, I'll clean it. I was disgusted and appalled.
NOW, let's see how hard this is going to be to get this company to pay me for the items their movers broke. Also, they took their time and I've never seen movers arrange, rearrange and then arrange it back like these guys, all to make a 6 hour total pack and move into a 12 hour pack and move job.
Anyone needing a moving company, please DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY. They are beyond unprofessional and thieves. You don't take people's things and you don't ask for people's items either! And when you break things, you should take responsibility for it and do the right thing. You also shouldn't use people by screwing them over and dragging out hours just to get paid more money.
And thank you to those movers for making this experience absolutely awful and for taking things that you have absolutely no right in taking!
And the owner of the company, if you don't believe me, please, go to the younger guys studio apartment and see our trashcan for the bathroom, our white and light wood colored stool and probably things that I don't realize yet are missing. And my safe, I had to redo the passcode because the wrong code was put in so many times that it locked it. After 7 times it will lock it if the code is put in wrong, over and over. It worked just before I was moved and magically was locked when I checked it after they left.
I'm not sure which one tried to get into it, but I think it's pretty horrible that you can't trust movers that you hire and pay a lot of money to, to move all of your personal items. They are the people you are supposed to trust because they do handle your whole house!
So Please, PLEASE, there are many moving companies out there, I wish I would have gone with a different one, don't make the mistake I did.
