  • I rent cars from Sky Harbor almost weekly. I usually go with the cheapest firm and rent through Costco. However, this week I need a SUV to seat at least 8 people. I selected AVIS because they had the best deal. $280 for the two days. The rental agent asked me if I wanted to upgrade to an Escalade for $150 more. I agreed. When I went downstairs, I found my upgraded Escalade only seated 7. I spoke with the ticket agent downstairs and found a Toyota that could fit 8. Hardly an upgrade. When I returned the vehicle at 4am in the morning on I had to leave the keys in the drop box because no one was there. I made sure the tank was full prior to dropping off. I found out later they charged me $261 for a gas refill even though it was full. They are a ROB. Stay away. There are too many other options to settle for these people. Look at all these reviews. They have a major issue there.
