  • BE WARNED: 1. They may damage your iPhone when replacing the battery. 2. If your iphone ever came in contact with water, especially if it is a iPhone 6 Plus (which is not water resistant at all), you may not want to allow them to open your phone for any repair or part replacement. Because if they damage the iphone, they will blame the water damage as the cause and not take any responsibility. And please note that they will not warn you about this before they take your phone. Everyone from this shop was nice when everything goes well. Until I found out they damaged my phone ( I can't hear the caller's voice any more unless I turn on the speaker or use headset) and told them, then their altitude (from staff to store manager) flipped completely. My phone was functioning well before I handed in my phone to them. After I got my phone back from them, the call function is not working normally. But they conveniently blame the damage they made to the water damage, which happened long time ago. They claim that once water went into the phone, any damage can happen any time . I can accept this as a true statement but what are the chances that damage caused by previous water damage happened during the two hours while they were having my phone???? I still can't accept their excuses. If before they took my phone they had told me that if they find water damage in the phone they wouldn't replace the battery and would not take any responsibility for any damages occur today , I would not have allowed them to open my phone. Unfortunately they are so unprofessional that they didn't communicate this piece of important information to me before I gave them my phone to work on! Apples customer care has a "don't care" attitude when it comes to complaints. They said our technicians who open the phones are trained and won't make mistakes? Anyone who has common sense can tell that this is a false statement. You can say they may have a less chance to make mistakes but anyone could make mistakes at work! Can't believe this statement is from a senior advisor at Apple. Thanks for the learning experience! I now know Apple staff better and this ever loyal Apple user has decided to switch to Android.
