There really is no comparable experience to watching a Habs game in the Bell Center, even for non-fans. It's something I think almost every Montrealer should check out at least once. Also, the design of the stadium allows for a great experience even in the cheaper seats.
That being said, there are some serious drawbacks which could irritate even die-hard fans. The cost of food/beverages is laughably obscene, there's no convenient way to get in/out between periods, and seat prices for Habs games are (somewhat understandably) outrageous.
That being said, if you get a chance to go (regardless of your hockey affinity), it's a unique and worthwhile experience.
