  • Bent Tree Coffee is the best coffee roaster in area! Let me explain why. First off, before I start kissing some major butt I want to point out to everyone that this is more of a store than it is a coffee shop. They do have one table with a couple seats that allows you to sit down and enjoy a cup, but don't plan on meeting a group of friends here because they cannot accommodate. Parking is sometimes scarce but that shouldn't deter you. Now, back to the butt kissing. Their coffee is hands down the best coffee you can find in this area! They import their beans from lots all over the world and they roast them right there in the shop. You can actually watch them do it. The variety is quite impressive. As a connoisseur of coffee I can tell you that these folks take great pride in their product and they never hesitate to help you find a bean that fits your taste. I think the owner is the guy who's sporting the Jesus beard, he seems to always be there and on top of everything. If you're a true 'Yelper' like me and you visit a lot of restaurants, you'll notice the best places will hang a sign that says "Serving Bent Tree Coffee". There's a reason for that, their reputation in the area is so well known that restaurants brag about serving their coffee. (i.e. Nosh Eatery, Taco Tontos, Tree City Coffee Shop, etc.) Their prices might seem kind of high but that's relative to grocery store prices. They're actually on par with other local coffee roasters, like Muggswigz in Canton. Although I noticed that Bent Tree doesn't tell you when they roasted the coffee you're buying. At Muggswigz they will sell you a bag of coffee at half price if it stays on the shelf longer than 10 days. Maybe that's something Bent Tree should consider doing. If you're a real coffee connoisseur and you're looking for the perfect cup, come out and support these guys, they deserve your business.
