One of the reasons you shop at Nordstrom is for the impeccable service. Recently I purchased my wife shoes for Christmas. I chose Nordstrom since I thought it would be hassle free to exchange the shoes if I got the fit wrong.
While they did take the shoe back, there is no exchange. Meaning had to return and reorder. Slightly annoying, but okay.
Stopped by the Ross park one and the sales person said Nordstrom may not be able to get the new size. These are popular shoes still in production and readily available. I can understand them being delayed after holiday, but he just said at all. So is unclear if will get the product or not now from Nordstrom.
Likely just the sales person or the store.
However, now the real question for me is why shop at Nordstrom if service is inconsistent?
This whole process was not easier - and likely harder - than just using amazon or going direct to manufacture.
