This isn't a bad place to go kill some time & have a look around, maybe take your kids too or something... but in all honesty, compared to pretty much every other Natural History/paleontology museum located in a city this size, it's pretty pathetic. I don't blame the museum itself, and that's why I don't mind going there and spending money, I blame the state for having such terrible funding when it comes to scientific institutions & the arts... it really is a shame for anyone who absolutely loves museums & paleontology because this place won't do much for you. It's not terrible, but it's 90% pretty decent taxidermy , a few osteology displays here and there, and some REALLY LAME dinosaur reproductions. Very very few fossils specimens. I'm not saying don't go here, but don't go with very high expectations.
