| - Everything went right with my experience at Boulders on Broadway.
Came in late evening on a Sunday, was able to seat ourselves in a spacious booth in a more quite corner of the pud, and was promptly greeted by our server.
The place was clean, well-lit (but not oppressively so), and the atmosphere was positive and upbeat. I loved how happy everyone was, and it was clearly a place for having a good time.
Our server was hilarious (almost crying at a couple of points) and he definitely made the night extra memorable. He was quick to top off our water, and made sure we were taken care of without being obnoxious. Kudos.
The food was excellent, making this my new favorite late-night stop for good ol' fashioned bar food. My wife and I split their Nachos Grande and it was amazing. Generous portion size, with all of the favorite toppings. They were baked in the oven to perfection and we scarfed them down with the help of our friend without even looking up.
I ordered the Elvis Calzone and was impressed. Cooked to a perfect golden brown, and stuffed with mozzerella, red bell peppers, and capers (normally comes with canadian bacon but I took the vegetarian route). Came with a huge side of house marina and it was hands down one of the best calzones I have ever had. Must try for calzone lovers.
Their beer list was staggeringly large, with every name you can imagine on it, and I was told that it changes daily. I wasn't drinking, so I didn't get to try any of the great selections, but it is definitely the place to be for those looking to try a new brew!!
Over all this place has great food, great service, and a killer atmosphere that makes a five star stop for anyone looking for an exceptional pub experience.
