| - My wife and I hired Arizona Event Catering for our wedding reception. We had 200 guests and some special needs. My wife is a research queen so in evaluating many catering companies, we chose AZ Event Catering because of several variables.
The first thing we noticed was how responsive they were. Chef Chris would get back to us immediately and practiced thorough communication providing us with what we needed faster than we expected. He was consultative in his approach, positive, upbeat, and very helpful. When trying the food, he presented several very good options based on our budget needs and had excellent, thoughtful recommendations on presentation and food that would offer variety to satisfy most taste buds and guests' diverse preferences. We had vegetarians, guests allergic to Gluten, and other types of issues to accommodate.
The food was excellent! We had a couple of guests with very strict dietary restrictions and Chef Chris was kind enough to go completely out of his way to prepare special meals for 2 of our guests. The day of our wedding reception, their presentation was professional and elegant, the staff provided friendly service, and they were on schedule for everything! We even had a special treat for our guests near the end of the night - we asked Chef Chris to make Mac & Cheese to serve as a late-night snack. I kid you not - it is the best Mac & Cheese I've ever had - I still order Mac & Cheese at restaurants occasionally when I have a craving and nothing compares! They also provided the Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour, bartender service for cocktail and reception through their Portable Pubs business, and handled all the linens, utensils, etc. and provided a coffee station for us. We loved having only one vendor do everything! It made things so much simpler and convenient for us. They are a one-stop shop and even offer cakes now!
All of this great food and service was at an extremely reasonable price offering tremendous value! As a professional DJ that has performed at many weddings, my perspective is a bit more informed than most simply because I've seen many vendors. I also know the work that goes on behind the scenes and my wife and I were so impressed, we made it a point to take a moment during our reception to get on the microphone and have everyone applaud AZ Event Catering for bending over backwards for us. I have recommended them ever since and continue to do so. Book them - you will be happy you did!
