| - From start to finish the service experience here was impeccable. It's like the Nordstrom of allergists. Which is super important to me considering my last allergist seemed to get their customer service practices from a Wal-mart handbook.
I have asthma and allergies so about once a year need to come in to get prescriptions refilled, take a breathing test, and just do a general check in. I'd had all my recent testing done at my last allergist, and even though they failed to send a copy of my records over here, it was no problem and I was able to get a refill and get some samples for a new inhaler. I saw Jean who is the NFP here and she was awesome. She was thorough, listened to my questions, gave me some coaching on how to use one of my meds (I've now stopped drowning myself with my nasal spray) and gave me samples for a new inhaler.
I asked my former provider if there was an alternative to my inhaler because the two a day inhaler wasn't convenient for me; I always always forget the morning doses. She told me that this one was the best one on the market for my asthma and offered no alternatives. Jean however was able to make a recommendation, understanding my concern, and sent me off with some samples.
They are a paperless office, so instead of handing you a Bible-sized stack of papers on your first visit, you get a tablet where you enter your personal information, confirm your insurance information and voila, all done! (And no papercuts.) I was lucky to get in for a next day appointment, but my only ding on this place is their hours are pretty limited. BUT they are open super early which is great if you're an early riser. I'm sure like any other doctor's office, wait times can vary, but I was in and out within an hour with an 8A appt.
I feel respected and heard here and while I don't care much for going to the doctor, I'm glad to have found an allergist I can trust.
