| - I recommend this place to all ladies - it's a great retreat and you feel amazing after going through the water circuit. Especially in the Jan/Feb months.
Ensure you take your time here - you can do the circuit a couple of times, and adapt according to what you prefer (yes, the ice cold plunge is freezing, but it must be increasing your circulation or something and you get use to it).
It's funny, I have most of the same comments. The woman I ordered my tea with, did forget my tea. I wish I had actually gotten a smoothie, as the tea was super hot, and it was already so humid. I also had to track someone down to get a cup so I could drink water. Make sure you drink enough water throughout the experience, the salt water definitely means you must keep hydrated. I would just bring your own water bottle, so you don't get your cup mixed up with someone else.
Also, don't try to do too much, a couple of rounds and that's about it -but you can be very leisurely about it. I personally loved the salt water pool and infrared sauna. The steam room was super steamy! I know that's a good thing, but found I could not stay in there for very long.
I also got a massage, and I'm not sure if it was because I was more relaxed with the waters, but it was a great massage. Yes, it's a better deal because when you pay for a massage, you get access to the waters. But you are paying more of a premium here for a massage, so it kind of works out to the same.
You also have to wait around till they call your name for your massage - it's a little confusing if they are not on time. You should also go back and do a circuit after your massage.
This place is also aesthetically pretty nice, clean and a nice escape from the -20 to -30 weather we've faced this winter. It does get busy though, so beware if you're not into too many people or nudity. I left at the end of the day on Saturday. I had to wait for a shower and to use their "makeup room". So it gets crowded on the weekends.
Glad Toronto has this place. Go with a friend to catch-up or by yourself to really relax.
