rev:text	A group of us came here for dinner after seeing The Nutcracker at Smith Center (which was really good.) It was my first time here but everyone else, being Vegas residents, were very familiar with this place. The ambience was very nice, sort of an old school/new school mix and the service was top notch. I passed on an app but there were some salads and soups ordered by the others. They all said they were good. For dinner I ordered the 16oz. Ribeye with a side of sauteed mushrooms. The cut was a good balance of fat to meat, pretty tender and cooked just as I ordered..mid-rare. One thing I do have to say is that the meat was seasoned aggressively, which is just how I like my steaks. It seemed like just salt and pepper but it was taken right to that edge of being too salty but not stepping over that line...flavorful and perfect. We all passed on desserts but one bread pudding did go home with one of us...unfortunately it wasn't me, i was too stuffed from all that steak and mushrooms to jam any more into mah belly. One funny thing on the way back to the car, we walked over to Fremont Street to see the huge Christmas tree all lit up. There was a huge crowd there as expected and in the middle of it all, there was a girl, in just a G-string and some pasties with a boom box dancing for tips. It was in the upper 30s that evening...gotta love Vegas...hah.
