  • This Month Only is one of those bars that you always think about going into, but are too scared to go because you think maybe you'll get shunned by the locals or in a bar fight. We finally wandered in on a Monday night after gaining liquid courage elsewhere beforehand and drank some bottles of beer for $3.75 each. The place is actually quite large, with a pool table (free on Tuesday's I think), and even serves food (we did not eat this... don't know that I ever would). Overall: It's a cheap, neighbourhood dive and you need to expect that the local crowd is a bit gritty... so as long as you're cool with the occasional drug deal happening on the corner... maybe it's an okay place to go if there's nowhere else to go...
