  • I will never use this company again. If I could give negative stars, I would. I was optimistic when I first made the appointment - great price, they were flexible on my terms. They did call to confirm the appointment. Then comes moving day. They were scheduled to arrive at 8 a.m. I was actually very specific with them on the phone since I had a schedule to keep that day. They said no problem. Did anybody show up at 8 a.m.? NO. Did anybody show up at 9 a.m.? NO. At 9:30 someone called and in a non-professional tone asked if I had schedule a move today? Um.... do you coordinate with your central office? Then they proceeded to run me a list of excuses why they weren't on time. They also tried going over every detail that I had already gone over with me.... felt like there was NO communication between the workers and the office. Here I am in the middle of the move already, doing things myself because they were so late, and now they want me to explain it all again? Ok, so I get over that.... and they finally arrive, 30 minutes PAST the already 2.5 hours late that they were... when they arrived they parked their truck in a position that was blocking several other cards and had the audacity to complain about other residents who asked them to move their truck. Completely unprofessional. Then the two guys proceeded to take their sweet time in moving 8 pieces of furniture from one apartment to another in the same complex. It took them THREE hours to move 8 pieces of furniture. No truck was needed. All they had to do was wrap up the pieces and carry them over. I am baffled how long it took. On top of being late and slow, they informed me on arrival that my price would be $100 more than the lady said on the phone. They rattled off all of these extra charges, trip fees, etc. and refused to acknowledge that I had made an agreement with the lady on the phone when I booked. So they finish the job and collect their payment (glad I gave them as small a tip as I did) and were on their way. Well, just one day later I was moving things around in my house (it is all in stacks and piles, as normal moves go) I notice that my prized piece of furniture was damaged. The one that I explicitly informed the movers was my best piece... that it was hand crafted and literally irreplaceable. I come to find that one whole side panel is badly damaged and threatening the structural integrity of the entire piece. So I call up hoping to be able to talk to someone, at the VERY least get an apology, maybe a bit of a refund... but at least an apology. No one answered the first time so I left a message with all of my details. I had to call back 4 days later because no one got back to me. Once I finally was able to speak to someone, the woman on the phone (I wish I had gotten her name) proceeded to recite rules and regulations to me. She flat out told me there was nothing they could do. She said that no one called me back because there was nothing they could do (um, not even a courtesy call with an apology? Just ignoring customer complaints? nice...). She barely paused in her very detailed explanation of why they couldn't do anything to even acknowledge that I'm a customer, something I treasured was broken by their company... she was on a mission to rattle off those rules and didn't care two shakes about me as a customer or how I felt. I am so angry I can't even begin to say it. She could have gotten SO far, and avoided this additional negative comment about the company, if she had simply been sympathetic and apologized. Instead there was absolutely zero effort to make things right. That's a horrible way to do business. Completely unprofessional. But I sure hope that lady feels good about talking right over me and not caring. I will never use this company again. I hope no one else uses this company again. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
