We were promptly greeted by Rosa when we entered the salon. We didn't have an appointment but called ahead to ensure they were open and had time for my little one to be seen. Only one person was in front of us and we waited a brief 10 minutes before being called back.
This was my little guy's first ever haircut! I requested she set aside a little bit of his hair (for his baby book), and she did. She surprised me at the end with putting his hair in a little baggy and attaching it to a "first haircut certificate" that had his name, the date and her name on it. Very sweet way to remember a first, which of course will be used in his baby book.
He loved Rosa! She did a great job, was good with our little guy and was so patient, too! He had plenty of toys to play with and had his pick of tv shows and movies to keep him distracted. There was no obnoxious noisy music playing that would scare my little one (which some other places have playing).
We received a $2 discount for liking their Facebook page and after paying we received a loyalty stamp card which has a couple discounts on it, too.
This is a small mom & pop salon with a quaint but cute fun interior. Looks like they just had a big slide set up in the front of the salon. I like giving money locally, if I can, so this was a good fit for us. A bit of a drive from where we live, but worth the good service and cute cut!
Thank you, Rosa (& Kid Clips)! We'll be back!
