The first of the public skateparks built in Arizona as part of the late 20th Century/early 21st Century renaissance of skateboarding. Though many might have preferred the underground nature of skating that had survived though the decades, the new parks brought retired skaters back to the parks and introduced transition skating to new generations of skateboarders. This park is still one of the best parks around because of the diversity of terrain and generally cool and welcoming vibe. The park is great for all ages and skill levels. Weekend mornings are especially nice for families.
