A monthly trivia night is what brought me to the Magpie. In an interesting and colourful neighbourhood, this small nook totally hit the spot.
Though I wasn't drinking I noticed a very good selection of beers and even a few ciders. The wood-y interior is very reminiscent of pubs back in the old country and that seemed to contribute to a very communal vibe, also akin to British pubs.
As mentioned below, they don't have a kitchen which is a drawback. However they didn't mind us eating our Gandhi's while we sat there so they're at least easy going about that.
