| - I've brought all my mountain bikes here for service and have spent over $500 this summer between the three of them with tuneups and new parts. The last time I brought in my bike, I was really dissappointed. I bought the $100 pro tune with brake bleeding and also had the rear brake system as well. I also brought in a new wheelset that I wanted them to switch out while they were servicing it as well. When I went to go just pick up the old wheels the next day so I could sell them on craigslist (I was told it would be a few days till the bike was ready because the new brake had to be special ordered) the mechanic told my bike was already and good to go. This surprised me because I was expecting it would take a few more days. As I was about to pay, another mechanic comes out from the office and tells me that the bike is in fact Not Ready to go. I was glad he knew what was going on, but if he didn't show up randomly, I would have walked out the door paying for a bike that hadn't even been serviced. The communication in this shop is really bad and often times the employees don't seem very friendly. Every time I brought my bikes in for tune ups, they always seemed to want to sell me a new bike and comment on how "old-school" my bike was when all I wanted was a tune-up, not the newest mountain bike. Overall, they are not a very professional shop. They are seem to be hit or miss. However, they services are priced well, as they didn't charge me $40 for the rear brake install, but I feel that I would rather pay a little more money and know for sure that everything was done correctly. On top of that, the front brake that they bled was not done correctly and still had air in the line from the day I picked it up. I'm not that impressed and will not be a returning customer.
