| - I'm quite new to the DSLR world and would expect that pro photography enthusiasts would be a little more helpful and would want to educate buyers about equipment and warranties, etc. Last night I went in to the Queen + Church location (after I had called about a specific lens), only to find out that the guy "misheard" me about the size I was looking for. I left empty-handed, however, the sales rep did get my mind going about a newly discontinued product that I could potentially buy instead (and this one was definitely an up-sale, but I was fine with that).
When I got home, I called them to find out whether they had the lens the rep told me about in-stock. After 10 minutes of being on hold while a rep was located, I got frustrated and called back. Rude, rude, rude. That's all I got on the other end from the same person that originally answered the phone.
I called back today to find out about in-stock items and again, was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. I called back and when I let the person know about my experiences with Henry's up to this point, he politely apologized and offered to help me immediately. I gotta hand it to this guy (ASH), because no one else was remotely nice. He finally confirmed they had what I wanted, put it aside for me, and again apologized for my experience.
I went to pick up my lens today. I'm happy with my purchase, but quite uncomfortable with having given business to this particular Henry's location. Even the guy that rang me up had absolutely no customer service skills.
Disappointed.
